Kevin O’Donnell (James)
The oldest child prodigy known to man, Kevin O’Donnell hails from southern Connecticut. As a small boy, Kevin chopped down his father’s prized cherry tree. When accused, he said “father I cannot lie, it was me,” to which his father said “you cannot lie, but you sure can swing an ax.” Thus Kevin went off to work as a lumberjack in the Yukon, until 2015 when he began to work at Telemundo as a Producer/Director. After 2 seasons on SOS: Salva Mi Casa, Kevin moved back to NYC and began working on commercials, documentaries, and short films. As an actor, Kevin has appeared in The Deuce, The Getdown, The Americans, Jessica Jones, Oceans 8 and The Greatest Showman, among other things.

Napoleon Emill (Napoleon)

NAPOLEON EMILL
With a dry wit, a warm voice, and a scathing eye set straight at the world around him, Napoleon Emill has set New York on fire with his low-key, nonchalant high-hilarity comedy. Originally faring from Charlotte, North Carolina, Napoleon has quickly made a name for himself here, a regular at shows and featured act at clubs all over the city.

Casey Ecker
Casey Marie Ecker studied Musical Theater at AMDA (NY) and since has been working on short films and student films. She is most excited about her episode of "Evil Lives Here" which aired this year on the ID channel. Currently she is focusing on writing her own work and her passion for photography.

​Dallas Padoven
DALLAS PADOVEN is originally from the small mountain town of Durango Colorado and now resides in New York City. NYC Credits: Wonderful Town, Calamity Jane. Regional work includes Annie! at the Walnut Street Theatre, Damn Yankees at Sacramento Music Circus, Shrek The Musical, Damn Yankees, Singin’ in the Rain, Footloose, Legally Blonde, Wedding Singerand Gypsy at Pittsburg CLO, West Side Story at the Media Theatre, Cincinnati King at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and Hands on a Hardbody at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati. He is a graduate of Cincinnati College Conservatory and a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.

​Eddie Morales
Eddie Morales is thrilled to be a part of James takes the disco! A South Florida native, Eddie graduated with a BFA in music theater from New World School of the Arts. He has been seen in several regional theater productions. Some of his favorite credits include: Disgraced (ABE), Sweet Charity (Marvin/ensemble), Curtains (ensemble), and Into the woods (Baker). He would like to thank the cast and crew for their welcoming and fun energy. Let’s boogie! 

Bryan Oliveira
A child of immigrants, Bryan resides in dallas where he does marketing for an IBM support company, and freelances on the side. During his free time, Bryan works on personal projects and collaborates with friends towards a YouTube channel.

Reed Yurman is an award-winning New York based director, born and raised. Her films call pay homage to retro fusion and surrealism. She has films that have played in the Tulsa film festival, Indiewise Film festival, Trés Court Film Festival and Cannes Short Corner Film Festival.

Hailing from the streets of Newark, Swelee Joseph is the cinematographer behind James Takes the Disco. He has filmed numerous shorts, music videos and branded content, notably for Spotify, Buxom and Bare Minerals.

Editor: Jack Wilson
Jack Wilson is a commercial editor based in Brooklyn, NY. He has edited for Apple, Shiseido, Buxom, bareMinerals, Spotify, Tidal, and more. Jack holds a dear place in his heart for all things Disco and funk related. When he was asked by his girlfriend to collaborate on this project, he said "hell yeah, baby”.

Sound: Rocco Vitolo Capotal
Rocco “Capotal” Vitolo is a sound designer, producer, and composer from Brooklyn, NY. Having been involved in audio for over 10 years, Rocco has a long list of credits on a number of music and film projects. After interning at studios around the city for some time, he’s now an on staff engineer at Creative Media Design. Rocco is also an avid funk music fan, so he couldn’t help but bring those influences to James Takes The Disco!

Color Correction : Ian Neisser
Ian’s penchant for action and pop culture leads him to create art that transcends mediums and tropes. Starting out at Drexel University, he has begun parodying video games working as a freelance producer and colorist, working on numerous shorts and music videos. In his free time, he experiments with 3d software and creates image assets Currently operates out of Brooklyn, NY.
