The Big Bang Theory -"The Rattus Norvegicus Sequence" (2011)
How do you test a writing partnership? This was not only a test, but the confirmation. Having the opportunity to write a Big Bang Episode for the WB was when we realized what a great team we make. It was the most fun I ever had as a writer. I took control of story & plot, Armistead took control of writing the actual script and he completely mastered the show's voice. I have to say, when you see your best friend swing for the fences, there's nothing but absolute pride. We wrote the hell out of it.
It was the very first script commission, in the very first month of our partnership. It sealed the deal. Even if we didn't get the job.

Heartstrings (2008)
Mozzle: I originally pitched an "upstairs, downstairs" medical drama that explored lives at two hospitals, Georgetown University Hospital in DC, one of the best hospitals in the nation and D.C. Central, in Anacostia, one of the most violent neighborhoods in the U.S. Then it entered development. Before I even realized, my very gritty pilot was targeted towards Lifetime TV, it became a show about nurses. Ultimately, the other nurse shows of 08', Nurse Jackie, Mercy, Hawthorne went into production way before we had a deal. And the producer called me to tell me, "we're coming up with a plan, I will call you at the end of the week." I never heard from her again. And I never got paid, but I learned a ton about the development process.

Hollow Town (2006)
Before "American Horror Story" became a show on FX. There was Hollow Town, Mozzle's first commissioned script; which also follows the story of a haunted house and a haunted town. Think of it as Ghost Whisperer on steroids. The script was commissioned by a Saad and Moss Entertainment. Shortly after finishing the first draft the company went bankrupt. Mozzle retained the rights to the script, and he never developed it past the first draft.

Trial (2004)
Mozzle's first screenplay also landed him in the top 30 of 2004's Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting. The story of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg's Trial, takes an unflinching look at the events that led to one of the darkest periods in our nation‘s history. In "Memento" like fashion, the audience is taken through a thrilling ride as the story flashes back and forth between the trial, and the true events that took Julius and Ethel Rosenberg to their deaths.
